Bathroom lightning- why the CRI value is so important

The bathroom lightning composition is detail work. Even small changes make the difference between a bright and pleasant atmosphere, between soft and hard light.

Did you know that an average bathroom is only 7.8 m²?

In rented flats there is often an additional source of daylight missing. And especially for bathrooms with little daylight, it is all the more important that built-in light meets the needs.

A woman often strains herself in front of the mirror to see as many wrinkles and eyelashes as possible in order to correct them if necessary. Men also often reach their limits when shaving.

Only what constitutes good light in a light mirror cabinet?

The secret is the CRI value of light. More precisely, the Color Rendering Index – never heard of it? Our illuminated mirror cabinets have a natural colour rendering index CRI ≥ 90 which means that we can offer almost daylight-fast quality ( CRI = 100 ).

A high CRI is required wherever colour precision is required, e.g. for make-up. It indicates how natural colour appears under a light source. And that is the decisive factor. Our light comes very close to real daylight. Make-up edges or the wrong choice of colour for lipstick are a thing of the past.

Check the CRI value at your nearest mirror cabinet or generally when buying light sources. The room and its appearance will thank you.

For some manufacturers the CRI should be contacted. If you do not find the specification, please ask. Any good mirror cabinet manufacturer will be happy to give you information. If you are looking for other light sources, for example for the dining room, you should also ask for the CRI. This value also makes the difference here
