Lighting Mood

As standard, all models offer a choice between two light colors: 3000 K appears warmer compared to the neutral lighting mood of 4000 K. All LEDs impress with a long life span of at least 45,000 hours. Every light source installed is replaceable.

TUNABLE WHITE – For many of our models, the light color can be continuously adjusted between 2000 and 6500 K using easy-to-operate rotary controls.

Lighting Efficiency

For our lighted mirror cabinets and mirrors, we deliberately use reduced power for the night or vanity lighting. Since the lower lighting has only a minor influence on overall room illumination, the focus is placed on the upper lighting, LED positioning and the geometry of the light cover. The pure lumen value is of limited relevance – decisive is the light direction.

SIDLER XAMO features a deliberately reduced output for the lower lighting. Through precise coordination of light quantity, beam direction and cover geometry, optimal room illumination is achieved despite lower overall power. This technical concept significantly increases energy efficiency without compromising light quality or functionality.

The result: maximum light quality with minimal energy consumption – fully in line with the SIDLER product philosophy.

Light Control

PUSH BUTTON – Both brightness and color temperature can be individually adjusted using the two controls.

SENSOR – The SIDLER Cap Touch sensor enables continuous dimming and targeted switching of the main light.

Light Engineering

CRI (Color Rendering)

…is the CRI value of the light. Better said, the color rendering index. Most of our medicine cabinets have a color rendering index CRI of ≥ 90, the means that our light is as nearly as true as daylight (CRI = 100). A high CRI value is needed for color precision. It defines how natural a color appears in light; and this is the deciding factor. Make Up edges or wrong lipstick colors are in the past.

Room Illuminating

In cooperation with a Swiss Institute for Lighting Technology, our experienced lighting planners measured the SIDLER light mirror cabinets photometrically. Appropriate software has calculated an objective image of the light distribution for different pool sizes.
